Chita Earrings

17Crafted in gold plated brass, the Chita Earrings combine hand embroidered cotton in graduated tones with melon cut natural gemstones. The sculptural gold form frames the embroidery, creating a rich contrast between polished metal, soft thread and stone.

The name comes from chitra, Sanskrit for drawing, a word that travelled with printed cloth and became chita in Brazil. The melon cut gemstones reference a form favoured in Mughal jewellery, bringing another layer of the piece’s journey between India and Brazil.

Available in three colourways, each pairing embroidery with amazonite, lapis lazuli or amethyst for a distinctive play of colour and texture.

We ship to the UK, EU and selected destinations worldwide. If your country isn’t currently available, please get in touch. All UK orders are dispatched via Royal Mail within two working days of purchase.

All international orders are shipped with DHL Express.

Orders shipped to the European Union are sent on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis. Duties and taxes are calculated and paid by the customer at checkout, ensuring no additional customs charges upon delivery.

Customs processing times may vary by country and any delays caused by customs procedures are outside of our control.

Returns

We want you to love your piece. If for any reason it isn't quite right, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase. Simply email us at london@mariafrering.com and we will arrange a return label for you.

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. We are unable to accept returns on pieces that show signs of wear.

Please note that duties, taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable in the event of a return.
